Though UKnightedTuesday 2023 has come to an end, we are still counting gifts that arrived directly to our offices.  Final achievement will be announced on Thursday, November 30 at our Thank-a-thon.

MidKNIGHT Madness! In honor of all our MidKNIGHT donors, an additional $5,000 from Gretchen Santamour, Arcadia University Trustee, will be unlocked.

With the exciting success of the day underway, we're calling all late Knights! Marc Welsh McKenna, MD, Arcadia University Trustee, was inspired by the collective support from alumni, faculty, staff, family, and friends and will give an additional $5,000 in honor of all gifts from now until midnight!

Lynda Spielman ’64 has generously given a $50,000 gift for an endowed scholarship. Celebrating her 60th Reunion this spring, Lynda is creating a legacy for future students in honor of this very special milestone. Thank you for your support of your alma mater, Lynda!

Celebrate the end of the first day of UKnightedTuesday and Defend the Castle!

If an additional 25 donors are reached within the next two hours, an additional $5,000 from Michel Paul, Arcadia University Trustee, will be unlocked.

For all the Jones Poundstone Society gifts made during UKnightedTuesday, Gretchen Santamour, Arcadia University Trustee will honor these leadership annual donors with an additional $5,000 to the University.

Susan C. Saxer ‘71 will unlock an additional $2,500 when twenty-five more Graduates of the Last Decade (2014 -2023) make their gifts to the University. 

The next ten gifts made during the next sixty minutes will unlock an additional gift of $5,000 from Marc Welsh McKenna, MD, Arcadia University Trustee.

Kay York ’68 has made a generous commitment to honor the legacy of women from Arcadia’s roots as Beaver Female Seminary. Inspired by the women in our community ”who get things done”, Kay hopes to inspire a new generation of leaders. She gives $50,000 to her Alma mater in support of women leaders and the fourth-annual Women Who Lead Forum, which celebrates the power and strength of the women of Arcadia and its important legacy institution, Beaver College

Carolyn R. Hodges ’69, in support of Arcadia’s students of today and of the future, has given $50,000 to endow a scholarship. 

Celebrating her 55th Reunion this spring, Carolyn is a distinguished leader in academia and her legacy will continue to uplift generations of scholars to come. Thank you for your generosity, Carolyn!

This year, we’re giving forward. When 50 more alumni and friends make a gift, an additional $5,000 from John Rollins, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, will be unlocked. 

Each year, Arcadia Student-Athletes excel in the classroom and in sporting competitions. Gifts to Arcadia Athletics support overnight travel experiences and future domestic trips. 

If twenty-five donors help to enrich the student-athlete achievements, an additional $2,500 from Michel Paul, Arcadia University Trustee, will be awarded to the University.

Each year, students from the College of Health Sciences travel to Clinical Rotations, Medical Service Trips, and Learning Experiences. If fifty donors help to offset these student travel costs to the Medical Service Trips & International Rotations funds, an additional $2,500 from Michel Paul, Arcadia University Trustee, will be awarded to the University.

Each year, students from the School of Global Business participate in International Competitions. If twenty-five donors help to offset these student travel costs, an additional $2,500 from Michel Paul, Arcadia University Trustee, will be awarded to the University.

When twenty-five of our newest Graduates of the Last Decade (2014 -2023) collectively make their gifts to the University, Susan C. Saxer ‘71 will unlock additional dollars to The Fund for Arcadia.

Arcadia Trustee and Chairman of the Board, John Rollins, has unlocked $10,000 to honor and celebrate all the early bird gifts made to UKT during this year’s ninth annual day of giving.

“Study abroad programs provide benefits for growth that amplify the college learning experience. Students gain an appreciation for and understanding of cultural differences, engage in activities outside their comfort zone and broaden their minds and independence”. 

For every dollar, up to $1,000, donated to the BAAAU Preview Fund will be matched through a $10,000 commitment by Arcadia Trustee Gretchen Santamour. 

The fund, founded and funded by the Black Alumni Association of Arcadia University, supports students who would otherwise never be able to afford or experience travel abroad while at Arcadia. The BAAAU Preview Travel Fund helps Black students participate in Preview, a signature travel program open to all students.  Preview is a two-credit course and a weeklong, international travel experience for first-year and transfer students.  The award received through the Fund can cover air transportation, ground transportation, programmed events, accommodations, and some meals. 

When donors from a total of 20 different states make their gift and paint the map scarlet on UKnightedTuesday, Arcadia Trustee Ashish Parmar will unlock a $10,000 gift to The Fund for Arcadia!
